North Korea has released their unveiled footage of a simulate missile attack on the United States.

The footage was released on a giant screen at a performance hall in Pyongyang to mark the birthday of Kim Il-sung, the state founder.

The simulated missile attack consisted to footages of new intermediate-range ballistic missile being fired across the Pacific and hitting a city in the U.S as the footage of burning Stars and Stripes with images of a cemetery followed.

“When the performance was over, all the performers and participants in the military parade broke into enthusiastic cheers of ‘hurrah!’” a North Korea news agency KCNA reported.

This action by the North Korea is estimated to be the result of the growing tension over the North Korea nuclear and missile programs.

“Those who would challenge our resolve or readiness should know, we will defeat any attack and meet any use of conventional or nuclear weapons with an overwhelming and effective American response,” Vice Preside of U.S. Mike Pence said.

Moreover, there has been speculations estimating its sixth nuclear test or the launch of an intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM).

North Korea has already unveiled their three types of ICBMs to respond to possible nuclear attacks from the U.S.

Further, they released a song about the country’s artillery unit in charge of the ICBMs. The lyrics include “Our proud Hwasong rocket blasts off” and “It flies as quickly as a flash or lightening to challenge imperialism.”
