Station Link buses will replace Epping to Chatswood train services from 30 September during the train line upgrades.

Station Link will provide supplementary services during the closure of Epping to Chatswood train line until the second quarter of 2019, while the train line is being converted to metro standards ahead of Sydney Metro Northwest.

The upgrades will allow for a greater frequency of trains when Sydney Metro Northwest services begin, with trains expected to run every 4 minutes during peak times.

According to Transport for NSW, Station Link will provide high frequency, turn-up-and-go services to stations between Epping and Chatswood at least every six minutes during the peak.

Also, during peak hours, more than 110 services will be provided per hour, with direct services running in and out of the Macquarie Park precinct from St Leonards, Beecroft and Eastwood.

Outside of the peak and during weekends, a service will run at least every 10 minutes, with a high frequency service to Macquarie University Campus from Epping Station during university semesters.

Customers can use the Trip Planner to search for the most up-to-date travel information.

To help support customers during the upgrade, more train services will be provided for stations north of Chatswood on the T1 North Shore Line, with doubled number of express trains available to and from the Sydney CBD via Strathfield during the peak for Central Coast customers.
