Customers can now complete the most popular transactions for their vehicles on their mobile devices.

Following the latest update to the Service NSW app, customers can now complete notice of disposal requests as well as renew their vehicle registration, view or pay vehicle fines, update their licence details and receive alerts.

NSW Minister for Finance, Services and Property Dominic Perrottet said the app's newest features are making it easier for customers to access government services.

“We’re listening to our customers’ needs and improving our services at the same time. By doing this we are moving towards a greater digital footprint which will streamline processes for customers and keep their sensitive information safe,” Mr Perrottet said.

With the upcoming launch of digital licences, customers will be able to carry virtual licences on their phones, further reducing the threat of mail theft.

“Digital licences will be a game changer for our citizens, offering benefits of security and convenience,” Mr Perrottet said.

The app features include a free registration check tool, a handy registration and licence renewal reminder service, a secure login to your myServiceNSW Digital Account to view your vehicle registration, vehicle licence and demerit details and to update your contact details and a search function to help customers find their nearest Service Centre and eSafety Check station.

More than 750,000 customers have signed up for a MyServiceNSW account.

The MyServiceNSW app is available at iTues Store or Google Play.
